Here I am on Saturday morning, opening Kailyn's blog for the first time. I was so excited when I received notice that it was up, but I was at a conference with zero wi-fi signal, and I also wanted to see it on the big screen. I have to say that as I sip tea on this cool morning, and Kailyn is unbelievably still asleep, I am in tears, and I have only made it to this part of it! I read an article about this Sesame Street piece going viral, but I had not had a chance to see it. Not only is is perfect, but what brings me to tears is the sensitivity of you both as a team to know that it would be meaningful to my daughter's experience. That is so very special, and I do not take it for granted. I am so moved by your insight, love, and attention to detail for all of the students in your class. Your devotion to presenting their experience as fully as possible is commendable. I thank you sincerely for this beautiful gift. It will be treasured by us as a family. I hope that you both are also relaxing a bit on this Saturday. I hear Kailyn now asking for Mommy. I cannot wait for her to see the video!!! :)
